Cost: $5 TAPS Members and $7 Non-Members

Many people’s investment assets are shrinking.  During these challenging market times, are you prepared?  Asset Management Professionals Albert Chang and Tina Wang will present two financial planning seminars to serve TAPS Members.  We will facilitate a comfortable and easygoing environment to share and learn financial strategies and how to profit from the current financial crisis. On each day, there will be one seminar presented in English and another concurrent session presented in Chinese.  So invite your family and friends who prefer to read and listen in Chinese. The following topics will be addressed in this series:

  • How can I take advantage of the current economic and stock market crisis
  • What should I do to participate in the growth of the market when it rebounds but also have downside protection?
  • Have we hit the bottom?
  • How do we avoid and decrease taxes legally
  • Should I harvest my investment losses?  What should I do to stop the bleeding?

February 28th – Part II: Implementing a Platinum Investment Plan for 2009~2023

  • How does the current economic and financial crisis compare to the following historic stock market crash – Great Depression, 1972-73, 1980-82, 1990-91, 1999–2003?
  • What can we learn from history and how to modify your investment strategy accordingly
  • Following a diversification formula based on – Taxes, Time Horizon, Risk Tolerance, Sectors
  • Comparison of investment options – Which one is right for you?
