Laugh and cry as you watch the heartwarming award winning animation “On Happiness Road” on Sat Oct 6 at SIFF Uptown Cinemas! There will be a Q&A session after the film with Director Sung. This is the film’s North America Tour – Seattle stop.
“On Happiness Road” (幸福路上) tells a story of Chi’s life journey, as she searches for the meaning of happiness through her family and friends. Her story gives the audience a glimpse into the history and societal complexities of Taiwan from the 70’s to present day as the protagonist reminisces about her past. The Taiwanese animated film has also won the Grand Prize at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival.
Director Hsin-Yin Sung (宋欣穎) will conduct an audience Q&A after the film.
