Dear Friends,
We have tallied up the donations and with your support in the past two weeks, together we raised $11,274 to help with the disaster relief efforts in Taiwan. 100% of your donations will benefit the Social Relief Fund of Kaohsiung County (http://www.sw.kscg.gov.tw/?html=news_show.php&loc=home&news_id=38) Morakot Typhoon Rescues Fund.
We are eager to get the funds to them quickly, but are still collecting donations. Online donations can be made via (https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=7563455) or checks made payable to TAPS can be mailed to – Seattle Taiwan Center – 4307 11th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105.
We could not have achieved this level of success without you. Your continued support for TAPS and Taiwan, generous donations, and attendance at the fundraiser dinner is greatly appreciated by the TAPS Board and all volunteers who worked diligently to put this event together. Thank you for helping TAPS show how much we care about what’s going on in Taiwan and as a younger generation of Asians, Together, We Can Make A Difference.
