TAPS and NAAAP Rattlesnake Ledge Hiking Trip

Hello From TAPS and NAAAP:

Can you think of a better way to enjoy the beauty of the northwest on a perfect summer day than a nice hike?

TAPS and NAAAP would like to invite everyone to our next event— Rattlesnake Ledge hiking trip. The details are as follows:

Hike: Rattlesnake Ledge

Trail is about 3 miles round trip, 1000′ vertical. This hike is suitable for all ages and experiences.

Date: Saturday, June 30th, 2012
Time: 4-5 hours
Cost: We ask that each passenger reimburse $5 for gas to their driver. Otherwise, it’s free.
Gear: rugged shoes that you will not mind getting dirty, sunscreen, bug spray, and most importantly WATER, WATER, WATER

Tentative Schedule:
9:45am: congregate at the Eastgate Park and Ride
10:00am: leave the Eastgate Park and Ride for the Rattlesnake Lake parking lot
10:30am: arrive at the Rattlesnake Lake parking lot
10:45am: start hiking to Rattlesnake Ledge
12:00pm: reach Rattlesnake Ledge
12:30pm: leave Rattlesnake Ledge
1:30pm: leave the Rattlesnake Lake parking lot
2:00pm: disperse from the Eastgate Park and Ride

You may choose to meet us at the Eastgate Park and Ride or the Rattlesnake Lake parking lot, whichever is easier for you. If you are interested in carpooling, please meet 9:45AM at the Eastgate Park and Ride. Otherwise, we’ll meet you at the Rattlesnake Lake parking lot at 10:30 AM. Directions to Eastgate Park and Ride and Rattlesnake Lake parking lot are provided below:

Driving Directions to the Rattlesnake Lake parking lot:
From Seattle drive 32 miles east on I-90 to exit 32 (436th Avenue SE).
Turn right (south) on 436th Avenue SE (Cedar Falls Road SE) and drive
about 4 miles to the well-developed Rattlesnake Lake parking area on
the right.
