TAP-Seattle Volunteer Event: Serve a Meal at the Orion Center

Come join TAP-Seattle on April 4th in preparing and serving a delicious brunch at the James W. Ray Orion Center! The Orion Center is part of YouthCare, which strives to aid homeless youth by providing a place for showers, hot meals, and shelter – among other services. Learn more about the amazing outreach and work that YouthCare does here: http://www.youthcare.org/.

Time: Saturday, April 4th 10am-1pm

Location: Youth Care Orion Center, 1828 Yale Ave, Seattle, WA 98101

Sign up by RSVP-ing yes to the Facebook event and e-mailing Jesse at jesse.chen@tap-seattle.org with your name and a contact number. You will receive an e-mail with a Meal Group Guide, which includes more details on what to expect, and instructions on getting to the center. Since space is limited (10 people) and the brunch service’s success highly depends on each volunteer’s time, we kindly ask that you commit to volunteering for the entire shift. Additionally, in case of the need for cancellation, please provide us with as much notice in advance as possible – this is very important as we need a certain number of volunteers and often need to recruit replacements.

We look forward to seeing you there!
