TAP-Seattle Hike @ Talapus and Olallie Lakes (CANCELLED)

This event was CANCELLED due to weather.

Come hang out with TAP members and friends and enjoy the sun on this easy-moderate hike at Talapus and Olallie Lakes! We will pass by both lakes as we take in breathtaking views of the mountains and pristine waters in Snoqualmie. All fitness levels welcome! Please bring lots of water and lunch, and remember to wear athletic shoes. Northwest Forest Pass is required for the vehicles on this hike.

Please meet at Eastgate Park and Ride at 8:30am
We will be leaving promptly at 8:45am from Eastgate Park and Ride for the trailhead
If there is interest, we can go grab food somewhere on the Eastside after the hike!

Location: Snoqualmie Pass – Snoqualmie Pass area
Distance: 6.2 miles round trip
Elevation gain: 1220 ft.
Difficulty level: easy-moderate

Date: Saturday, July 25, 2015
Time: 4-5 hours
Cost: Northwest Forest Pass and Alpine Lakes Wilderness Permit required, both available at the trailhead. Parking: There is a parking lot at the trailhead. If the lot is full, you can park on the side of the road
Gear: Hiking or athletic shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, water, snack.

Schedule:
08:30am Congregate at the Eastgate Park and Ride
08:45am Leave the Eastgate Park and Ride for the Talapus and Olallie Lakes trailhead
04:00pm Back at Eastgate Park and Ride

If you are interested in carpooling or can volunteer to drive, please meet at the Eastgate Park and Ride.
