We need 8 volunteers for making a 3-4 course meal for about 25 patients/family members. Tasks will include unloading food, preparing, cooking, and serving food, and cleanup. We’ll have a chance to eat dinner together of the food we made as well.

Menu:
Preliminary menu includes fried rice, broccoli beef, mapo tofu.
We will finalize and send across the menu to the participants.

Background Information:
The Seattle Ronald McDonald house is a charity foundation which supports seriously ill children and their families. It provides a “home-away-from-home” to help families through difficult times. Housing is provided to the families of any seriously ill children who live more than 30 miles away while undergoing treatment at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

The Ronald McDonald House Charity receives no government funding, but relies on the generosity of the private sector. Local McDonald’s restaurants provide about 20 percent of our operating budget through their in-store canister program and other promotions.

Hope to see you there! Thank you all!
