Come volunteer at FareStart with TAPS on Sunday, February 24 10 am- 3 pm! We will be volunteers in the kitchen and help prepare meals by completing basic food preparation; for example: peeling and chopping vegetables, assembling lasagnas, etc. Chefs will assign tasks based on individual skill and comfort level.
We ask that you commit to volunteering for the entire time, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We also ask that in the case of cancellation you provide us with as much notice as possible—this is very important as we need a certain number of volunteers to produce meals and often need to recruit replacements. Food preparation takes place at the FareStart building on 7th and Virginia on the bottom floor of the building
