Last year we shared many laughs with Robert Mak and his family as he shared his life lessons. Back by popular demand, please join us again for a fun evening of socializing and Jia Bun (dinner) with our guest speaker, John Chen.

Our featured speaker, John Chen, the “Big Kid”/CEO of Playtime Inc 2002 BBB Innovative Business Practices Award, will share his life lessons and share stories of his travels, friends, adventures, and business. The “Big Kid” is filled with enthusiasm and life experiences that many of us think of doing rather than just doing it.

Topic:

Lesson From A Paper Son: Leadership Lessons From 3 Generations of Asian Entrepreneurs

Using his grandfather’s story of how he came to America and what he risked, John Chen will mirror the lessons with his own journey to start his company and become an Asian entrepreneur. In this session, you will learn:
* What a Paper Son is and why it’s so important to American History
* Risk Taking Lessons for Asians
* Leadership Lessons

PLAYTIME Inc. http://www.playtimeinc.com

A strong business is all about the people, and at PLAYTIME Inc., it’s
our dedicated team that makes our Geoteaming programs so successful.
We’re always working hard to find new way to create and deliver the
best possible Geoteaming events.

John Chen uses technology and adventure to create long-lasting human
change. You wouldn’t expect anything less from a guy who’s walked on
40 feet of fire, heli-snowboarded, skydived and summitted Denali
(20,320 ft.).

Microsoft was the ideal place for John to hone his team-building
skills. During the ten years he worked there, he shipped ten products,
earned two US Patents and helped eight teams collaborate to ship
Exchange, the first client-server email product with over 100 million
client licenses. All the while, he was busy at work developing his
unique “competitive-collaborative” designs that are integral part of
PLAYTIME and geoteaming..
